Our storybook take on the book's big idea: a little extra effort, and friends cheering you on.

Caitlin Clark scores a lot of points. Now she has a book, too.

Her first picture book came out on November 3, 2026. The title is EXTRAordinary! A Little EXTRA to Reach BIG Dreams.

It is made for kids ages 4 to 8. It has 32 pages, and the words rhyme.

It started with a mirror

When Clark was a kid, a mirror hung in her bedroom. On it was a saying: “The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is the little extra.”

“The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is the little extra.”

The book grows out of that saying. It is about doing a little extra, believing in yourself, and leaning on your team.

Clark told the Associated Press she hopes kids keep the book for a long time, and maybe pass it on one day.

The team behind the book

The pictures are by Adriana Predoi. The book comes from Random House Books for Young Readers.

The hardcover costs $19.99. You can find it at bookstores and big shops like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Target. An ebook costs $6.99, and an audiobook is on the way.

If your kid loves hoops, this is an easy pick for the reading pile.
